Despite the recent Windows 10 update, the most recent bug involves YouTube, which appears to be incompatible with Edge at times. The Microsoft Edge browser is the newest browser released by the software giant after it abandoned the Internet Explorer platform. Once the app has been uninstalled, go back to “My Games & Apps” and select “Store”. From the menu that appears, select “Uninstall”. Press the menu button and select “Manage app”. To do this, go to “My Games & Apps” and select “Edge”. If you’re still having trouble watching videos on Edge, then you may need to uninstall and reinstall the app. Confirm the reset and Edge will now be reset to its default state. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select “Reset”. On the next page, press the menu button again and select “Manage Extensions”. To do this, again launch Edge and press the menu button. If clearing the cache doesn’t work, then you may need to reset Edge.
Make sure that both “Cookies and saved website data” and “Cached data and files” are selected. Scroll down to the “Clear browsing data” section and select “Choose what to clear”. From the menu that appears, select “Settings”. To do this, simply launch Edge and press the menu button (three dots) in the top right corner. One potential fix is to clear the browser cache. The good news is that there are a few potential solutions that you can try. This appears to be a widespread problem, with many users reporting the same issue on various forums.
